After Wang Chen-Kang, a kung fu master of the “Shadow Gate School” is killed, his only son Wang Tsung-Wen (Billy Chong) is accepted as a pupil in the Cheong Hsing Martial Art school, working in the kitchen to pay for his lessons, he finds that they cook, Chang Tien Hsiang (Simon Yuen) is a veteran “Shadow Gate Boxer”. His enemies join forces to take revenge on Chang, raid the school and beat up Wang. Chang is impressed by the boy’s courage and agrees to teach him his kung fu skills. Later Chang learns that Wang is the son of his beloved pupil. Young Wang uses his knowledge to beat his adversaries, “Blind Chen” and “Deaf Cha,” making the former deaf and the latter blind in the ultimate encounter, he uses all his fighting tactics to avenge not only his father’s death but also to eliminate all the villains to old Chang’s delight.
