The soundtrack to the BTS WORLD app reveals the boys in collaboration mode, creating songs with each other and other superstars of pop and hip-hop. Juice WRLD adds his distinctive drawl to the wavy RM and Suga track “All Night.” On “Dream Glow,” Norwegian production gurus Stargate build an iridescent playland for Charli XCX, Jimin, Jin, and Jung Kook to frolic in. Meanwhile, J-Hope, V, and Zara Larsson ponder “A Brand New Day” with “Lovesick” hitmaker Mura Masa, who adds accents like Korean danso flute and African kalimba. The instrumental theme songs have a range of sounds: cloudlike (“Cake Waltz,” “Wish,” “Flying”), vintage 007 (“Captain”), whimsical (“Shine”), melodramatic (“Not Alone”), and inspiring (“Friends”). Most of all, the group pays deep gratitude to its ARMY fanbase and encourages them to dream big. The group track “Heartbeat” drives the point home: “I’ve been calling your name in this whole universe/Now I need no space, I got you-niverse.”
