Border garrisons are stationed at Manpojin and they are attacked by horse-riding bandits every winter. A Chinese member of the bandits learns about an upcoming attack and attempts to sneak his family living in Manpojin out of trouble. However, his father refuses to run away and chooses instead to tip the border garrisons off. A fierce battle takes place between the bandits and the garrisons, and just as the garrisons fall in danger, the dispatched Japanese police force appears to back them up. Together, they wipe out the bandits and peace is restored in the town. [KOFA]
