In the reign of King Ekkatat, five years before the second loss of Ayutthaya, capital city of Thailand at that time, Alaungpaya (King of Angwa, Burma) sent 20,000 soldiers to invade Ta Nao Sri and Ma Rid which were the harbor cities of Ayutthaya, Thailand. When the King of Ayutthya knew the invasion, he sent 2 groups of army to protect the country led by Praya Yommaraj and Praya Rattanathibetr.

In the meantime, Kun Rong Palad Chu of Wiset Chai Charn collected 400 volunteers to join Thai army. When Praya Rattanathibetr realized that the group of Praya Yommaraj was lost by the Angwa army of Burma, he assigned Kun Rong Palad Chu and his 400 soldiers to standby at Kuiburi. Not so long, the army of Mung Ra Rajabutr of Burma and Mung Kong Noratha moved to Kuiburi and attached us.
