Showdown will take the audience to join in on the journey of Battle Crew, a champion dance crew from the north led by its charismatic leader, Kimi (Rizal Hasbie). Kadir (Azad Jasmin), a well-meaning small time businessman, wants to take them to the biggest dance competition in the nation, Showdown, which is held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Kimi is reluctant to go, but after being persuaded by his dance crew, he gives in and sacrifices his feelings in order for the crew to achieve their dreams of becoming the nation’s best dance crew. Kimi must cast aside his fears and resolve his troubled past, to help his crew win the competition and gain what was once lost. (TGV Cinema Synopsis)
